For the next couple of months I will be doing a mug rug swap where you copy the picture in the swap! You will have 1 partner! It is up to you the size and the fabric colors you use. As long as the pattern of your rug is just like the picture! This months mug rug is ~ Have fun!!

ugh...mine is rectangular and not square. Do I need to do another one?

Guess I did not follow directions. It says that it must look like the picture and mine does and does not. I will opt of out this swap until I can follow along. Thanks

njstauter the one in the picture is rectangular, not square, so you're probably ok with it.

I'm not so concerned with the outside (square or rectangle) just that the pattern is the same! Even the size of the pieces might not be exact which is fine as long as it looks like the picture! Hope that helps!!

I rejoined the swap. I am giving the first one I made to a Granddaughter and will make another one for this swap. I actually love the pattern and am happy to make it again. I know that I have both squares and rectangles for my personal MRs and either is fine. Thank you for clarifying

I'm not so concerned with the outside (square or rectangle) just that the pattern is the same! Even the size of the pieces might not be exact which is fine as long as it looks like the picture! Hope that helps!!
