Zentangle Inspired Art Swap Series Homepage

This is the second instalment of this theme, I adore how these ZIA swaps have been hooking people up all over the world! The next best thing to having afternoon tea and tangles with your friend is to join this swap! ;)

Please check that you have read ALL the details as the requirements for each swap in the series may vary. Email me if you encounter any problems: hesedetang[at]gmail.com

This is a sender's choice swap, but please avoid religious/controversial themes. This is a type 3, International swap with a minimum rating of 4.99 and above. For interested swappers with less than 4.99, do leave me a private message for consideration.

I will angel if necessary.

The Details:

  • One partner, one self-tangled A6 Postcard, one factory-sealed teabag

  • About tea: You may send any type of tea you like, or look for clues on your partner's profile page. However as it is sender's choice, the type of tea really is up to you. If you are sending loose leaf tea, please check first with your recipient. Some countries may not allow it to pass through customs. For avoidance of doubt and unnecessary customs delay, it may be best to simply send out a factory-sealed teabag ;)

  • About postcards: You may choose to buy or create your own blank postcard from your favourite art paper, bristol board, strathmore cold press, etc., just ensure your ZIA postcard is thick enough.

  • Please fill up at least half the area of the front of your postcards with known tangles [ See next point. ]

  • Please choose from known or published tangle patterns. [ I hate to have to be so exacting in my requirements, but of late, I have received some very sloppy work in this swap series. If you have any questions about what Zentangle is, PLEASE ASK BEFORE YOU SEND. ]

  • On the BACK of your postcard please include: A. your SB moniker, B. swap name, C. a few lines to share with your partner, and D. quick list of tangles used in your ZIA.

  • Send out your postcard and teabag in an envelope.

  • Rate your partner when you receive a ZIA Postcard with a teabag.

P.S. You are more than welcome to post your preparation, pre-swap and post-swap photos to our shared Pinterest board :) Just send me a line so I know to drop you an invite!

FYI: An A6 postcard, according to the post office, is 5.51 x 3.54 inches. Close enough to our 6 X 4 inch standard?
