Description:
You know you have one -- that NaNo novel that you finished but never edited, or the one that didn't get done by Nov. 30, or the one you loved but set aside for some breathing room. Or maybe even the one that's all ready to submit to an editor or publisher or to self-publish but you've not taken the next step on the path. Well, it's May. NaNoWriMo and a new writing challenge is six months away. That old NaNo novel still needs some love and attention. Remember it? You used to be so psyched about it. Pick a NaNo year, any year that you participated. Resolve over the next two months to do something with that manuscript. Post below your June 1-July 31 plan for that novel. Your plan needs to be posted before partners are assigned. After partners are assigned, in a note/letter sent no earlier than July 15, you'll tell them: a) what you accomplished in the two months b) what your future plans are regarding the manuscript c) A brief summary -- no more than 100 words -- identifying the genre, the NaNo year you started it, and what the novel is about. Think loglines here.

I think I will work on my last nano novel that went completely off the rails while I was writing it. Every last plot hole became huge and I definitely didn't write what I wanted. My two month plan (more like a month because I'm super busy until halfway through June) will be to add in my missing scenes, fix the plot, and maybe make it closer to readable.

My plan is to continue the rewrite of my NaNo 2010 novel! I've been at it for years and want this to be my last draft.

I have a tri-fold mini display board with Post-It notes in three sizes. Each sticky represents something that needs to be done, tweaked, fixed or written (i.e. new scenes).

My plan for the two months is to have ALL of those sticky notes gone! There are 21 of them!

My plans for June to July are to go through and re-read all 4 books that I've written, the second was my first NaNo win, and add in little details to make it fuller, change some of the words around (I get tired of saying SAID a lot LOL), and trying to make some more sense of what I wrote to help go towards other books as well.

My other goals are to use MY post it notes to help fill in the summaries for my other books. I'm so excited!!

I am going to edit "Nightmairy Fairy Tale" because I have a friend who wants to read it. Have already started on it. I love reading to him, and he is crazy enough to listen. LOL.
