Winter means so many things: snow, winter sports, family, vacations, snow, snowmen. Don't forget Winter Solstice, Christmas, Hanaukkah, St. Nicolaus Day and all the other wonderful winter holidays! Lets make one amigurumi for one partner to warm their hearts during the long cold winter. Some ideas: snowmen, fir trees, Santa Claus, elves, lights, bulbs, pointsiettas, wreaths, gifts, menorah, candles - THE LIST IS ENDLESS! You could even make an amigurumi shoe full of candy for St. Nicolaus Day! Links to some free patterns: Swappers MUST have a rating no lower that 4.8 and NO (and I mean NO) no-sends within the past 3 months. Newbies are welcome with a completed profile. Please email me with questions. If it is clear you have not read the description, I will delete you from the swap. If you have a fewer than 3 big mail swaps, you MUST pm me. This is an international swap, as this should be low-cost to ship. You will be sending one Amigurumi (knit or crochet) to one partner. Your item should be at least as big as a Ty Beanie Baby (at least 4 inches tall), or a similar size depending on the shape. You do not have to tailor your piece to your partner's interests, but remember, we don't all celebrate the same holidays, so do take a peek at what your partner likes. Remember, Amigurumi have faces! Please make something you would like to receive in return. I realize that this swap takes place over the holidays. If you join this swap you are committing your time and energy to it - alongside holiday obligations. Please do not bite off more than you can chew. |
