Pink and Purple Awareness 2016

As many of you know, October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Having lost a little sister to breast cancer in 2013 and a cousin and acquaintances to domestic violence, these issues are dear to my heart. I am always thinking about my loved ones, not simply during the months dedicated to awareness.

Let's honor victims and survivors by sending some pink and purple out into the world.

For this swap, you will send your partner a photo, digital art creation, or hand-made art. The main focus of each piece of art must be the colors indicated--one or both. Minimum size: 4x6.

Your art piece may be any subject and may be presented in any way you choose. Some of us use these sorts of creations in other projects, so keep that in mind.

For photos and digital art, please be sure to print professional or on a high quality photo printer on premium photo paper. For all art, please take care in packaging so that nothing is lost through the postal system.

Enclose a note and send. (Not required, but...) If you have a story connected to breast cancer and/or domestic violence and if you're comfortable writing about it, please feel free to share with your partner.
