Write Now, September Challenge

Another of the ongoing challenge to people who want to write something creative and share with others in the group.

September challege is to write a piece of flash fiction or flash creative nonfiction chosing one of the following prompts:

• the phone rang and ...

• I never expected ...

• my adventure in a national park was...

Explanation: "flash" whatever usually means a short piece of writing, under 1000 words often under 750 or 500 words - it tries to say a lot with well thought out words. "creative nonfiction" basically is a true happening/story that others might mistake for fiction.

SO: chose a prompt, write something short but punchy --it's a category 3 because you should be putting your best effort into it.

Send to two partners - rate your partners when you recieve their writing and, I hope, say something appreciative to them.

I added the National Park prompt because this is the 100th birthday of one of the best ideas Congress ever had and I'm very grateful -I've been to several and loved them
