WIYM: Paint a Watercolor Envelope

For this swap either make an envelope or use a store bought envelope and paint it using watercolors. You don't need to be an artist for this swap! It's easy to make a pretty envelope by using different painting techniques like splatter, etc. Use YouTube for inspiration! You may use other embellishments such as washi, stickers, etc, but the main focus should be watercolors.

Once your envelope is dry, add a flat surprise or two for your partner inside. What you send is sender's choice, but as always, feel free to look at your partner's profile! Send something nice, something you would like to receive.

Tips for painting your envelope:

• If using a store bought envelope, cut a piece of parchment or wax paper to fit the inside of the envelope. This will keep the front and back of the envelope from sticking together while wet.
• Use a hair dryer for fast drying! The low setting works best.
