Description:

Back by popular demand (one person asking about it and me really wanting to run it again counts as popular demand, right?) Mail Art ATC's!

Hopefully I am not the only one inundated with really cool envelopes. Neat doodles, fun paper, weird stickers, crisp postmarks... I cut a lot of things out to save for later, but sadly I often don't ever actually use them.

For this swap, dig through your cool envelope pile and make an ATC with the stuff you find in there. You can use things like pens or paint or embossing powder to tie the ATC together, but please only use paper scraps and such from your actual received mail.

Don't worry about sending someone an ATC that uses something they sent you, If anything it would be flattering. But do try to take bits from several different envelopes/postcards/etc.

Please do not leave any addresses visible.

Yay! Thanks for reposting this one. I look forward to creating a recycled ATC.

(: my pleasure, it's one of my favorite swaps to host and it always gets a rather small turn-out so I am glad you showed interest.

Oh definitely. I love the idea of repurposing things to create something new. One of my favorite places is the creative reuse depot which is like a thrift store with all sorts of new and used materials for different types of projects. On another note, I just made three of these ATCs and it was super fun. Maybe we could send two next time? Either one to two partners or just two to one. (the latter seems simpler)

I'll consider doing a future partner increase, the problem is this series of swaps usually attracts very few participants and adding a second ATC to the requirements usually doesn't attract more people.

I often make multiples when I do this swap as well. I use them in other ATC trades, or send them off as randomail (which you should really check out, some great mail gets passed around in there.)

Other swap participants or would be participants, feel free to weigh in on the partner/atc thing.

Sounds good, I'll check it out!
