WIYM: Pretty Tape Cards (Edited)

Let's have fun making note cards with our pretty tapes. Washi tape, paper tape, fabric tape - even shiny deco tapes will work in this swap. The only exception is, please do not use duct tape.

Grab a few rolls of tape and/or some of the many washi samples you may have received in swaps and lay some different strips side by side on a piece of card stock (or blank index cards, file folders, etc.) In my example above, I put them diagonally and then added a stamped "hello" saying in the corner. As not all tape is created equal, I like to fold the edges around to the back so they'll stay down. When you have put as many strips as you want on the card, adhere it to a folded card.

Feel free to use a similar design or come up with one of your own. Adding a stamped greeting is optional.

Fine Details

• 1 partner
• Make 2 pretty tape cards for that partner
• Write a happy note inside one of the cards for your partner to read and enjoy, perhaps with their favorite beverage. :)
• The other card will be for your partner to use. Please include an envelope, decorated with pretty tapes of course, to go along with this card.
• Please also decorate your mailing envelope with several pretty tapes - - and this means, yes, on the front of the envelope. This step is important to me. There are just no excuses in my book not to make all our envelopes colorful when we have lots of pretty tapes. :)

Lastly, please include 4 different 15-inch strips of pretty tapes for your partner to play with. They can be any of the tape kinds I listed above.
