Description:

I am a kindergarten teacher at a Montessori academy and although "school" is out, we run our programs all year round and my students have been talking about countries around the world (due to the fact that one of the kids just got back from China). We thought it would be fun to see how many postcards we could get from different places around the world. We are looking for postcards with photographs on them so we can "see" what other countries are like. These photographs can be of anything, tourist attractions/land marks, places you've traveled to, wilderness/scenery etc... we just want to "experience" your countries (since we can't actually visit them).

For this swap, you will be sending my class 1 postcard in the mail and you will send your partner an email telling them 3 interesting fact abouts your home country/state. It can be anything you deem appropriate.

I am hoping to get as many DIFFERENT countries as possible... I only have 15 postcards to send out... so if you could please comment the country your postcard is SHOWING (not necessarily where you are from), that would be greatly appreciated.

I WILL MESSAGE YOU TO EXCHANGE ADDRESSES once the sign up date has passed.

Sorry if this is confusing, feel free to ask questions!! :) We appreciate everyone who is able to help us out with out project <3

Just a thought -- these types of swaps pop up from time to time, generally the swap host will have the partners send each other a notecard or postcard. because they have to receive something to be able to rate their partner :) If you don't want to set it up that way, you could always set it up as a RAK in the forum section. :) Good luck with the munchkins!

Zoebolt - Oh thanks! I didn`t know that I could do that. Perhaps I will revise the swap to include an email swap for the partners. That way you can get a rating or figure out this forum RAK situation. I have never made an appearance in the forums. Thanks for the info!!

Here is a similar school swap I'm participating in. It is set up so that one postcard goes to the school and one goes to the assigned swap partner. An e-swap could also work. I just wanted to share another teacher's method of how to go about this kind of swap. http://swap-bot.com/swap/show/222881 Btw, I am in US, but have Uzbekistan, Jerusalem, and Japan.

Thanks Mandi! I've never done something like this so I appreciate the input! I'll do an e-swap for partners so they can get their ratings. I'll change that now Thanks!

@Lucine Yeah its just to send my kindergartens cards. The email part is just for ratings. No big deal
