Friendship Books - Christmas Card list #3

This will be a 5+ swap series with a pretty quick turn around (shooting for about 2-3 weeks MAX between swap send out dates) and you will have 3 partners. I am classifying this as a class 3 swap due to the more involved nature of this swap. You will also get 3 nice ratings if you complete the swap as instructed. We are trying to create "Christmas Card list" Friendship books that are intended to get back home in November so we can send a Christmas card to everyone in our books. Please save the books you get from this swap to pass on for the next one, but please also be aware that you may NOT get these all home due to folks dropping out of the series with books in their possession, without follow through or someone mistakenly sending them off to a non-participator of the series. I will offer to take the books for those who wish to drop out at any time, so if you sign up, please be aware that you promise to send ME your books should you need to drop. Alternatively, if you would LIKE to take books from someone who drops, please comment below or send me a PM and I will create a list of "angels". Now, on to the good stuff!! If this is your first time joining the series, WELCOME! The more the merrier, right?! These first set of instructions will apply to you if this is your first time with this swap. You will begin with creating 3 Christmas/winter themed friendship books and making yourself the "by" and "for". Please don't include more than 6 pages as we want them to make it home THIS YEAR and this leaves room for at least 10 friends to sign, if each takes one side of one page. We are making 3 books (one for each partner you get), so that is potentially 30+ cards to mail out for the holidays. You should note these instructions in your FB (feel free to use your own words to convey these, of course.) What the purpose of the book is (Christmas Card list) For each signer to use a full page to sign and address as well as leave their card preference (no religious, general winter only, Hanukkah, etc) That the signer who is in possession of the book near Halloween (10/31/16) to please send home by 11/10/16 so you may mail out your cards in time for the holidays. Make sure to also put a spot on the back for passers just in case someone gets the same book inadvertently a 2nd time around or it comes into the hands of someone not wishing to receive a card. Hopefully, if everyone participates adhering to the instructions in your books, all 3 of them will make it home in time. When you get your books in this swap, DO like the books instructions ask.... leave your name and address as well as the kinds of cards you would like to receive (ie: religious are welcome, I LOVE SANTA, Snowmen, Nighttime winter scenes, snowflakes, Victorian scenes, none with ornaments or Christmas trees, etc) & decorate your page a little with some stickers, doodles, artwork, washi - anything FLAT - make it reflect you at holiday time and always remember to write the date on your page. Then, wait for the next swap where you will get 3 new partners to mail the books to and 3 new books to decorate.
For those who were in round one, all you have to do is send off the filled out books from round two to your new partners, wait to get the books from your new partners to fill in & then wait for round #4! Be sure to check the books you get for the previous signers, and try not to send a book to someone who has already signed that book. The 3 partner set up should help us a little with that. If you end up short on a book, you can make a new one to pass along, or I can make one and send to your partner as a proxy, and YOU will get the rating for MY work (and I always try to garner a heart)!
