Teesha Moore Patches, Christmas themed

Well, it’s time for a new tree skirt in my house! The old one is forever gone. I’ve decided to make one out of Teesha Moore patches. For this swap, you will make 5 identical (or not identical, because no one will know that you didn’t! lol) Teesha Moore patches. You will have five partners and send one patch to each partner. I plan to host one of these each month until November, when I hope to have enough to turn into a tree skirt. You can look up on youtube any number of great tutorials on how to make these patches. For mine, I use felt as my filler. It keeps it nice and even and just the right amount of “fluffy” to not be ugly. Please use Christmas colors and have fun with all of the Christmas fabrics. Of course, because these are backed with fabric, you can make your tree skirt reversible!!!

These can be any size because the print on the fabric determines how you put your patch together. they can be any where from 3 inches to 8 inches depending on what you design your patch to look like! have fun and be creative with your patch. remember, what every you make, it might end up being a part of someone's family heirloom!! im making a tree skirt, but someone else might make a Christmas wall hanging or wreath or pillow cover!

of course we need to talk about ratings. I will let anyone in with a 4.9 rating or higher, no ones or threes in the last three months. If you look like a flake I will definitely not let you play. Christmas swaps are notoriously flaky any way! just trying to keep all the swappers protected! any questions, please message me or write it in the comments section below! can't wait to see this tree skirt!!

How did you all mail these in August? I originally was planning on sandwiching them in greeting cards and mailing them for the non-machineable amount but I am worried about the glass seed beads. My po told me yesterday the cheapest I can send anything that they do not consider a letter ( because of thickness) is $2.62 even if it is under an ounce. TIA Bonnie

I just put mine in brown paper lunch sacks, bent it over ,put two stamps on it and put them into the box. I don't think anyone had problems getting them....?
