handmade bookmark - newbie friendly

Create a handmade, personal bookmark for your partner! Look at your partner's profile and try to choose a theme they will enjoy. Put some effort into this - not just a few stickers on a piece of cardboard. (You can use stickers, of course, but only as an embellishment.) The technique (drawing, painting, stamping, collage, mixed media, ...) is up to you, there are just a few points you should pay attention to, so the resulting bookmark is actually usable and doesn't damage the book it's used in.

• If you use soluble (watercolor, ink, ...) or smudgy (pencil, charcoal, pastels, ...) colors on the bookmark, please be sure to use some kind of varnish so the bookmark can't stain the book pages!

• The same goes for glitter. If you want to use some, that's fine, but only firmly attached, please!

• Please don't use anything that can decompose. Those leaves and twigs are pretty, but in this swap, we want bookmarks that last. :)

• Also, please don't use bulky embellishments like rhinestones or brads on the bookmark. They will inevitably leave pressure marks inside the book. Keep the collage elements (if you decide to use any) flat!

This swap is newbie-friendly, which means, I'll allow new swappers as long as they have a well filled out profile, so I can see they are serious about swapping. I will remove anyone known as problematic and anyone with a near-empty profile.
