Description:

Let's create an art journal with fabulous art from our fellow group members!

I was thinking about requiring this page to be a certain color, but thought it would be more fun to allow you to choose your color. So, choose any color you want and create a monochromatic style art journal page! You can keep to the true definition of monochromatic and strictly use one color and shades of that same color, but let's be a little loose with the monochromatic definition, and allow a tiny bit more variety. However, if you choose red, your page should be all red (but you can use different hues and black and white). If you want to challenge yourself further with a true monochromatic piece, fantastic! :-)

The requirements for your journal page:

Theme: Open (Sender's Choice)
Size: 5" x 5" (12.7 cm x 12.7 cm)
Color Palette: Any Monochromatic
Artistic Requirements: Artistic mediums are at your discretion. (Please do not use sharpies or tape on your journal pages, as they will not retain their look)

Since this is an art journal page and the art we create we do in our image, this page is entirely sender's choice. Please leave the back of your page blank in case your partner wants to mount your page and include a note for your partner with at least the swap information, and if it isn't obvious, how your page relates to the theme. Don't forget, when mailing, do not fold your page! :-)

I'm planning on continuing these page swaps regularly. Some themes might be easy, some might be a little more of a challenge, but all will be the same size so we can bind the pages or add them to journals we may already have. You are welcome to take the opportunity to experiment and stretch your horizons or to stick to what you are comfortable making.

Any questions? Just ask! Is there a page you would like to have for your journal? Let me know. :-)
