Newbie Helpers: Share Your City or Town!

This swap gives us a chance to share our pleasure in the places we live.

You will have one partner.

Send your partner three things from the following list. Everything you send must be connected with your city, town, village or region.

A fridge magnet

A souvenir

A keychain

2 postcards showing sights of your city

An ATC about where you live

Notecards from your town or region with pictures of local tourist attractions

Candy or cookies that have been made near where you live

A mini-zine about your city

4 photographs taken by you that show scenes of your town

A book or magazine about your town

A jigsaw puzzle depicting your town

AND ...

Also send your partner a letter telling them three things you like about your city or town!

Make sure that everything is wrapped well for safe sending. And double-check the use by date on any food you send -- we don't want to send out-of-date items!

This is an international swap. If you get a partner from another country, think about the weight. Books or mugs, for example, are heavy and will cost you a lot in postage, whereas some of the other possibilities are much lighter..

International packages can take a month or so to arrive -- sometimes they arrive much more quickly but there's no guarantee, so if you are receiving from someone overseas, please be patient and give the package time to arrive.
