Description:

This is an international swap, open to newbies with filled-in and well-thought-out profiles! (A good rule of thumb: when I open your profile page, I should have to scroll down to read it)

SO.....

Maybe you're a newbie, and want to join swaps, but you aren't rated yet...or maybe you've been around awhile, but your ratings could use a boost, or maybe you're just a swapper with a great score, and want a simple swap to keep it that way...

So here's a simple swap for you - - have some FUN with it!

Pick THREE items off the list, and send to TWO partners.

Got that?

3 items x 2 partners = 6 items! Here we go!

*card of fun buttons

*a roll of patterned ribbon

*a yard of ric-rac

  • 2 skeins of embroidery floss

*1 sheet of sticky scrapbook embellishments

    *2 wax tarts

    *a new memo pad

*2 used off-paper postage stamps, with an animal or flower on it

    *stationery set (2 sheets/1 envie)

    *1 unused postcard

    *1 new gel pen

*10 spare "loose" stickers (no reward, freebie, magazine, etc.)

    *2 flavored tea bags

*10 swap cards (if you don't know what these are, I'm running a swap for them...you can read about them, and maybe join us!)

*3 blank note cards with envelopes

    *1 new pack Post-It notes

*5 ATC blanks (cut up cereal box works great.) 2 1/2 x 3 1/2 inches

    *4 - 6" x 6" pieces of scrapbook paper (one-sided is fine)

*4 sheets of various ephemera (dictionary page, yellow pages, old receipts, etc.,)

    *5 squares of calico fabric 5" x 5"

    *5 handmade envies

Yes, there are some "rules"

*Please limit the "I don't want sent to me" to TWO items on the list! Or just let it be a surprise, and know your swap partner hopes you have FUN with it.

*If you really dislike the item, but it meets the swap requirement, they earn a "5" rating. You can re-swap the items, and send to someone else.

*PLEASE SEND YOUR ITEMS ON TIME! The "Send by" date, is the last day the item can have a postmark.

*Be sure to include your own name and swap ID, the name of the swap, and the date you mailed it. ( that's what a Swap Card is) Γ°ΕΈΛœβ€°

*When you receive your swap, be sure to RATE your partner,. There are newbies who are eager to get a number after their name!

If you have any questions, please just ask, or message me.

I hope you have FUN with This!

I have deleted a comment by VivaLaDiane, who is not in any of my swaps. I will not allow her to use my forums to state her opinions about anyone who IS in my swaps!

Happy New Year, everyone!

I'm a newbie. I'd like to participate in your challenge. I have a couple of question just so I have a clear understanding of it

We pick 3 items on the list provided to send out... Do you assign who our swap partner is? Address etc.

The Swap Card is something we create to represent ourselves and the Swap we participate in?! And it gets mailed with items?

I just want to be exact on the target!

Partners are randomly assigned by swapbot. The day after the signup deadline, a link appears on the host (my) swap page, and after checking people's profiles, (to make they HAVE one, mostly.) I click that link, and it is done.

I have a newbie-friendly swap for swap cards - - and you can read about them in more detail there....but what they are, is homemade cards, that with space for swappers to write their swap ID, the name of the swap, and the date the swap is mailed. (There's more info on the swap card swap page, and also on my profile page.

Most of my swaps are newbie friendly, with only ONE rule - - you must have a full profile- - I always say, when I open your profile page, I should have to scroll down to read it...your partners want to know more about you.

I am happy to welcome you to my swaps, I hope you will check some of them out. And welcome to swap-bot!

hi everyone hope to get to know all of you.

Piarismendi 01/15/2016 #

Hi tmma27 :D

ToujoursMoi 01/16/2016 #

No tea and no ATC cards for me, please. Γ°ΕΈΛœβ€°

tmma27 01/16/2016 #

What are ATC cards?

Nellie1 01/18/2016 #

Please, no wax tarts unless soy based. I'm allergic to paraffin based candles. And no calico fabric.

skier11 01/18/2016 #

Please no ATC blanks or various ephemera for me. I already have entirely too much ephemera and I don't make ATCs. I think my partner and I would both cry if I did :-)

gramsbuttonbox 01/18/2016 #

Tmma27 -they are just ATC "blanks" - - a cut-up cereal box would work, or other firm rectangleofsturdy backing.

chaari 01/19/2016 #

I don't need ATC blanks, anything else very welcome ^_^

ladypudge 01/23/2016 #

Are "envies" envelopes?

gramsbuttonbox 01/25/2016 #

Yes, they are. Thanks for asking.

meganjayne8 01/25/2016 #

what size do the envelopes need to be?

tmma27 01/26/2016 #

Ok thanks gramsbuttonbutton.

gramsbuttonbox 01/27/2016 #

Handmade envies can be almost any size, even tiny, to hold some tiny treat. Those are not "mailable", or they cost more to mail, and if you make a couple tiny ones, also include some "normal" size as well, letter size, or card size. Hope that helps.
