Winter Crown

Greeting Sisters. I bring to you a challenging swap with I hope plenty of time to finish. If you Sisters believe it should have a different time frame to complete, I am happy to accommodate as I want this to be fun for us all.

With Yule and the Winter Solstice approaching, I thought it would be a lovely way for us to share ourselves with each other by creating a Yule or Solstice Crown. We each have our own path and ways we celebrate the passing of time but many traditions include a crown or head band as a part of the celebration.

If you search Pinterest with Yule Crown, you will see there are multiple ideas as to what to make and some interesting tutorials on how to make festive head pieces. A search on Google will produce an array of crowns as well.

Parameters - we are all adults so I would think the circumference of our own heads could be used as a model for how large to create with. It should not be made of anything perishable because of shipping issues. Beyond that, we all have varying degrees of availability of time and cash so it is entirely up to you what to use for materials. Only send something made with good intentions and be something you yourself would wear.
