Ok, I made two tonight and wanted to make more! The scan I did is not very clear, but it gives an idea at least. I ca write up a quick turial if I need to, if you are unsure how to make them, They really aren't very hard! susi

Hi Susi, Just a silly question. I alter both sides of the slide and then do a picture to go into the center and make that double sided as well? Or is just the picture double sided but the slide frame single sided?

1st: Kathleen, when you decorate the slide mount you'll decorate it on both side. It can be as easy as just using a background stamp, or covering it with paper. Then you'll use two small pictures glued back to back to go inside the "frame" If you need any more info, feel free to ask. Check out Belle's link too, that may help!

the link is very good, but these don't have to be as involved as those shown are... I just glanced so they might not have been very hard! But again, I can write up a little "tutorial" if needed! susi

i never did one both sides, is that necessary? i always did it like an ATC then signed it on the back.

thats fine to Belle, I don\'t think it\'s a big deal. I just thought if you did both sides that you could see both sides from the sleeve page. But if you, or anyone else wants to do just one side, that\'s ok with me. I\'m easy! susi

Question, in description it says 3 partners, but then only lists one partner? Which is it?

I just wrote to swap bot to see if I can change the number of partners.. I am also going to see if I can just change the start date, and see what happens,,, what a mess I made! susi

I changed the sign up date to the 28th, but it still only gives one partner... lets hope that swap bot can help us out a bit here! susi

I think what happened is that I wanted everyone to have 3 partners, and to make 3 slides per partner...I just assigned partners now, so we all will just have 1 partner unless I write to swap bot and ask them how I can change it. my idea was to be able to fill a whole atc page... 9 slide to 9 pockets... if I am able to change this somehow, would the original idea (3 partners, 3 slide each) be ok with all of you?

Jennifer, I got your SASE yesterday, along with your goodies THANK YOU!!! You really didn't have to do that! So be expecting to recieve more slide mounts than needed for the swap, plus some goodies too, because you put on a LOT of postage for just the slide mounts. Please know that these mounts are not the plastic kind you find in the scrapbook store, but cards stock that I am cutting with my sizzix mzchine. I'll send you some of the 3 sizes that it cuts, one has square windows, one round, and the other rectangular. I'll get them cut and off tomorrow so they get to you quickly. susi

hey, y'all... i found some great info! if you go to paperwishes.com, you'l find stuff on slide mounts, and cn even buy them there or templates, and even better... go to creativepapercrafts.net, and look at their webisodes! they have an archive of them, and two are about slide mounts. go to the one called slide mount mania, and watch it.. what little I saw before I jumped over to tell you all about it looked great! of course they are pushing there products, but you can get some great ideas too. they are more geared towards scrapbooking and cardmaking, but again, you can do what you want with your mounts. I also found an idea sheet on altering mounts in a packet i got from a scrapbooking convention years ago, and it has a ton of ideas. If I had the capability to do it, I'd scan it in a.pdf file, and send it out all of you. I'd say send me an sase, and i'd send you a copy, but it'd take a while to get to people, especially to those overseas...but, if you still want it, I'll send it to whomever does... overseas participants can send ephemera, usa participants can send just one stamp, it's only one sheet...and I'll send it to you for future use. OR... if any of you has a way to convert files to pdf, I can send it to you and you can convert it...I don't have a ckue how or what you need to do it. ley me ask around, I think I know someone who could do it for me just with a scan or a copy...if so, I'll get it done asap, and send the link to everyone...anybody have any other ideas, or are interested, let me know, and we'll figure things out! susi...who's going back to watch the rest of the webisode, lol

found out which book it was that has tons of slide mount art in it... artists sketch books and journals, or the oher way around....by lynne perella susi
