This Pocket Letter is dedicated to the Mexican holiday the "Day of the Dead" however the theme is about Sugar Skulls

• Here is a bit of info about this Mexican Holiday: Its a holiday that is celebrated in central and southern Mexico on the 1st of Nov and the 2nd of November. People celebrate and honor their deceased loved ones which includes their ancestors. Its said that the gates of heaven open at midnight on October 31, and that when the spirits of the deceased children (angelitos) are allowed to reunite with their families for 24 hours. On November 2 the spirits of the adults come down to enjoy festivities that are prepared for them. People make Altars on this holiday that include marigolds, fruit, day of the dead bread -"pan de muerto",papel picado, candles, sugur skulls-"calaveras de azucar" and the deceased favorite food. Pictures of their deceased loved ones are placed inside the altar. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Here are some instructions: You fill up a 9 pocket trading card sleeve with 2.5 X 3.5 scrapbook paper if you have awesome illustrating/ drawing skills you can definitely use them for this swap but whatever you do make sure it’s something you would like to receive. Most importantly put a good amount of dedication since you are given a month to create it. For this pocket letter you are to make the front side about sugar skulls and may add anything that is related to the holiday "The day of the dead" but that’s optional.
