EDITED: I JUST REALIZED THE SEND-BY DATE WAS IN THE MIDDLE OF THE WEEK, SO I'VE CHANGED IT. SEND-BY DATE IS NOW DECEMBER 8TH. Being pagans/Wiccans, we all know the power of the pentacle. It is one of the most recognized symbols of many pagan traditions. Like the Christian cross, or the Jewish Star of David, our pentacle is revered. I personally believe that the pentacle is a reflection of our inner selves. It can be serious and stoic, but it can also be pretty and playful. Let's experiment with this idea. You will take or make a pentacle that is at least 3 inches in diameter and decorate it for your partner to use on their altar, or as they see fit. This could be drawn by you on a piece of paper, a purchased pentacle that you embellish with beads, feathers or other natural items. Or perhaps you'd like to create a pentacle using green wood that has not yet dried. Maybe you do needlepoint/embroidery and would like to stitch one for your partner. Or even work with polymer clay. The possibilities are limited only by your imagination. be sure to contact your partner regarding what things are allowed in their country, as some countries do not allow natural woods to be mailed Tailor the pentacle to you partner's likes and dislikes. Is your partner a Hello Kitty fan? Perhaps you will design a HK themed pentacle for them to use on a playful altar? Maybe your partner also enjoys using religious items from other religions, so you could add Christian crosses, Buddha beads and yin-yang symbols to the pentacle. Each person will have 1 (one) partner. I'm allowing enough time between sign-up and send date for you to gather your materials. The send date was chosen so that (hopefully) the pentacles will arrive by Yule. Any questions, just let me know! Blessed be! |
