Pink and Purple Awareness

We are nearing the end of October, Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Having lost a little sister to breast cancer last year and a cousin and several acquaintances to domestic violence, these issues are dear to my heart. I am always thinking about them, not simply during the months dedicated to awareness.

Let's honor victims and survivors by sending some pink and purple out into the world.

For this swap, you will send one "pink photo" and one "purple photo" to your partner. The main focus of each photo must be one of the colors indicated.

Photos may be any subject and may be presented in any way you choose. Some of us use our beautiful photos in other projects, so keep that in mind.

Enclose a note and send. (Not required, but...) If you have a story connected to breast cancer and/or domestic violence and if you're comfortable writing about it, please feel free to share with your partner.
