Halloween Advent Calander -USA only

Make a paper Halloween advent calendar, sized 8 1/2 by 11 or bigger. Please look at your partners profile to get an idea of what they would like.

Create a Halloween scene on sturdy paper by drawing, painting, decoupage, or all three. The image is your choice. The important thing is to have FUN!!!! (That is what we have when we aren’t here.)

Cut doors into it, and then lay it over another piece of cardboard or sturdy paper, and outline the opening of each door onto it.

Put some sort of Halloween surprise inside each square. Make sure your door will shut afterwords!

Glue or double stick tape the two pieces together, and you have a fabulous Advent Calendar.

The focus is on the artwork on the outside of the advent calendar. The stuff behind the doors can be stickers, other flat embellishments, images from old cards or magazines, or things you draw or paint.

There will be 15 doors. The countdown to Halloween will start on the 17th of October. You can number the doors a few ways.

•You can start with the first door being numbered 17, and finish the rest of the doors with the rest of the days of October, the last being the 31st.

•You can start with the first door being 1, and the last being 17.

•Or you can start with the first door being 17 and the last being one. your choice

I will be checking ratings and profiles. Please have good ratings and full profiles. Newbies with at least 3 swaps rated (and in good standing) are welcome.

Please mail with care. Don't fold your advent, and take a bit of care packing it so the post office gorillas don't damage it during shipping.
