* Japanese Envie Mail Art * Int. #1

Hey all the Japan/kawaii lovers out there! This is a swap for you!

Decorate a blank envie in a Japanese theme. This can be with kawaii characters, Japanese calligraphy.. anything that comes to your mind. You are allowed to use any media ie. you can draw or make a collage. Just make it something super pretty that you would love to receive yourself! Please make sure you are putting some effort into your mail art, just sticker slapping is not enough.

Inside of the envie we will pack some Japanese goodies! Please enclose for your partner 4 small surprises. A list of possible items: Kawaii stationary, Japanese coins, Japanese teas, Japanese magazines or pamphlets. Make sure you are checking your partner's profile for likes and dislikes. This swap is not entirely profile-based (as it might be difficult to get exactely what your partner wishes for) but it must certainly be profile-inspired. Send a variety of items, not just 4 kawaii sticker flakes or kawaii sheets. Please send nothing homemade, unless your partner specifically asks for it.

Please also include a little note (only a few sentences per question) for your partner. Please answer the following questions in your letter: What is so fascinating for you about the Japanese culture? If you have travelled to Japan: What was your best experience? or If you have never travelled to Japan before: How do you imagine the country and its people to be?

Please try to inlcude as many stamps as possible (if possible no printed sticker by the post office, ask if you can have more than one stamp.) If you cannot it's ok. Please everyone do not rate down if your envie does not contain stamps. See it as a cute extra.
