I have been doing a lot of art journal swaps and I love seeing everyone's journals and art work. But I can hardly wait to see my journal. So in this swap I would like to try to have the journal sent back to the owner with each swap...below are the swap criteria Make or buy a journal....preferably no bigger than 5 x 7 Add your name, address and email address to the front page cover On the next 5 (2 page spreads) add your own journal prompts for your swap partner to create. When you receive a journal from your swap partner.You will have 1 month to complete the pages or sooner and then send the journal back to the owner. That way they can see how it is going and if they want to continue they can join the next swap. Rating is set at 4.9. I will be looking at profiles and ratings for this swap and I will ban anyone I consider a risk. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me or leave a comment.

Couple of questions since I've never done an art journal before.

1- Are we coming up with the prompts ourselves?

2- Are we leaving the pages undecorated for our partner to do?

Sorry if they seem dumb, but never having done an art journal before, I've gotten kind of curious about them.

You will create prompts for your swap partner...so they should be themes and prompts that you would like in your journal. And yes you are leaving the pages undecorated...your partner will do the pages....they will have a month to do it and then that person will send the journal back to you.

hope this clears up some confusion. I love doing journal pages now.

Thank you for answering my questions! I have one more....

Can I put a little post-it or something on each page with the prompt on it rather than putting the prompt on the page itself? That way my partner can incorporate the prompt however they want to onto the page? Does that make sense? Lol

This is suposed to be like a sketch book, correct? Because i recieved mine and my partner made prompts like a journal that you write
