One of my first Swap-bot trades was for ATC ephemera. Wow! I received some awesome pictures, papers and trinkets that have inspired me to be more creative in the past two months. For this swap, you'll have two partners. For each you will fill a large zip-lock plastic bag with ephemera. These bags are sometimes called "gallon size" -- they are usually 10 9/16x11 inch or 26.8x27.9 cm. Ephemera can be all sorts of interesting scraps. You don't need to send paper only -- interesting beads, sequins & other embellishments are always wonderful to find in a package! While we'd love to get all true vintage items, some reproductions or new items are OK. Do you have interesting candy wrappers or tea bag tags? How about old ticket stubs? Pages from children's books & dictionaries, found photos, pieces from maps, dominos or bits from board games, parts from old jewelry? Scrapbook papers, old advertising, photographs, yarn, ribbon & small items like keys & charms can be included. Please don't send copies that you've run off on a photocopier or printed yourself. We're looking for found or salvaged items. --You must FILL OUT your Swap-bot profile to join this swap. I will notify you once asking you to complete it, and if not completed I have the option to drop you from the trade. --This is an INTERNATIONAL swap. You must be willing to pay for shipping if assigned a partner outside your home country! --Rating of at least 4 to join. I'll allow new swappers without a rating to participate but please be sure you are willing to follow through to make this a quality swap! --Think about what you'd enjoy receiving and what makes for interesting art. If you are not going to send, please don't sign up. One person's junk is another's treasure -- but don't send trash... |
