Description:

Thanks to @betty194 for the original swap and permission to do a U.S. version!

For this swap you take at least 8 small envelopes (around the size of an ATC or playing card, but can be a little bigger or smaller of course). You may send more if you are feeling inspired/generous, but you must send a minimum of 8.

Decorate each envelope. You can use handmade or store bought envelopes, - but you still have to decorate them. (Ideas: beautiful paper, stickers, washi tape, ribbons, fabric, embellishments, drawings, paintings, rubber stamping...) No artistic talent required BUT put love and effort in every single envelope!! It should take you some time to create them :).

For each envelope:

Take a small card or sheet of paper (please use stronger paper than usual writing paper) that fits into the envelope. Write a positive thought / quote / wish on it. Anything you think will cheer your partner up. It can be a positive inspiring quote you love, a nice wish for your partner, even a compliment you want to make after you have read your partner´s profile :) It only has to be positive! Again: Decorate the card on the side you wrote!

Now put a little surprise in each envelope. (Ideas: sticker flakes, a teabag, a nice small picture, embellishments, a small candy, maybe an inexpensive jewelery, a tiny letter..... what ever you think may cheer your partner up and fits into the envelope).

Seal each envelope! (That´s important for curious persons like me, helps me not to open them all at once ;)). You can seal with a sticker, with washi tape, with a wax seal.....

The idea is that you can keep the envelopes and open one when you feel you need a happy thought :).

No matter if you keep the envelopes or open them at once, you need to rate immediately.

Requirements to join: - at least 30 rated Type 2/3 swaps, at least 10 completed type 3 swaps - no 1's in the last 6 months - no recent unexplained threes

I reserve the right to ban a participant even when they meet the requirements.

DO NOT FLAKE! If you FLAKE on this swap, you will disappoint someone in a time of need. That's bad karma at the very least.

HAVE FUN :)

Wouldn't this be a type three swap?

I think you are right. I went based off of @betty194 s swap, but with the time involved and all, I guess it really is a type 3
