Description:

Most employees are now required to wear ID badges at their workplace, so wouldn't it be nice to have a pretty lanyard for that badge? It's also a stylish way to carry your car keys while shopping, instead of having them fall to the bottom of your purse. Vera Bradley sells these for $8-17; we're going to make one for far less. This is a project for confident beginners and intermediate-experienced sewists.

You will use this tutorial (http://simplycottonacc.blogspot.com/2011/12/little-lanyard-tutorial.html ) to make one lanyard for your partner.

  • Color is recipient's choice. Please note your choice of preferred color or color combination in the comment section below.
  • Do your best work. You want your partner to be the envy of her coworkers. :)
  • Send ON TIME.
  • Rate promptly and accurately.
  • Communicate if there are problems.

I like saturated jewel tones, Modern fabrics, and 30's repros :)

I love aqua. Aqua and red, aqua and sapphire, aqua and purple. Or a mix of beachy colors: blues and purples.

So fun! I love cute skull fabrics, aqua and red, aqua and navy, black and pink, cute turtles

I wear a lot of black to work, but I would like something in jewel tone colors, just not neon colors or bright pink.

I would love any color batik. Thanks!
