Description:
Using a Book Page as your background create any theme or medium for your page. Book Page can be glued on whatever type of heavy paper your are using. Create an original 5" x 7" journal page on card stock (2 pages glued together), watercolor paper or any acid free heavy paper. Have fun, include your favorite type of art, collage,sketches,stamping, painting, masks etc. please, no digitally produced pages but you can use a printed out image. Add embellishments but not too thick: ribbon, thread, washi tape, 3D elements, etc. Any charms should be attached to bottom of page. Leave a 1" border free of decoration on left hand side of page. Are these always vertical with the blank 1 inch on the 7" side?

I prefer to have the inch margin on mine on the 5" side.... I don't like the tall and skinny.... does it matter? Can we ask our partner what they prefer?

I've made one that was a different size for my partner but I would rather not leave a margin. It takes away space for artwork. It can be vertical or horizonal. It is up to the person making it. If I'm wrong @Jjean you can correct me. There is a group or two that I know of that requires a margin. I do one every now and then.

Oh, wait, this one is in the group. I'm use to doing her public journal pages. If there is a margin requirement I will do one but if we don't have to then I would rather not.

Sorry, did not see this....I would ask my partner if there is a ? about the 1" border....I make mine on the left side...

Oh man, I have my page made and it still looks kind of bare. Not sure what else to do to it. I forgot about the 1" border again, darn it. The way I made it though there is a border on it. Since it is a book page I hate to cover up the back so the it isn't thick. What if I laminated it? It isn't thick but it makes it sturdy and safe from being ruined. Hmmmm, gotta think about it. I might have to redo it.
