You will create a zine centered around 1 food ingredient. You could create an entire zine around the spice cumin then include some tips for buying cumin, or where it comes from and then share some recipes using it.

You could do a zine around a certain fruit or vegetable or a meat or a carb like pasta or rice.

SWAP GUIDELINES:

*To create your zine you may use any type of techniques. So sketch, collage, word processor, typewriter, handwritten, photos.... create it as you wish.

*Entire zine must have to do with the ingredient you chose.

*The completed size must be no larger than quarter page (about 4.5 inches x 5.5 inches). Minimum 8 pages (including front and back covers).

*Make it, copy it, put it together and mail one copy each to your 4 partners.

Swappers must have a minimum rating of 4.95, no unexplained 1's or 3's.

What is a zine??? A zine is a magazine/pamphlet/booklet that you make and publish yourself (usually photocopied). They can contain anything you like for example: Poetry, opinions, recipes, a comic, photographs, stories, reviews, sketches, personal experience, journal style.
