Description:

This a simple postcard swap - you send 1 postcard to 2 partners. The postcard must be of a historical place in your country - ruins, old buildings, monuments, fortresses, castles, temples, tombs, pyramids, an ancient city... whatever your country provides. Show how proud you are of the history of your country! :) It would be nice if you give some details about the place to your partners.

The postcard could be single or multi view. No vintage. No paintings. No self-made, self-printed, zazzle etc. Only new, store-bought postcards with a real photograph on them.

The postcard could be sent written & stamped or blank in an envelope or written in an envelope. Please check your partners' profiles about their preferences.

For this swap I would welcome people who have completed at least 10 Type 2 swaps and have a rating of at least 4.8. I don't want any flakers to spoil the fun.

Awesome swap! If you are my partner and want to do me a favour, write some historical facts about the place on the back of it!

Awesome I live in a historic medieval market town, close to a Roman baths, and just up the road from Mr Darcy... Historic postcards are so easy to find here LOL

A little bummed that vintage cards aren't allowed, since I have quite a few vintage cards that are historical. It seems to fit! Well, I'm still joining anyway. :)

If you get me, I wouldn't mind them being vintage and would still rate you a five as I love vintage lol

The purpose of my swaps is to please the recipient. :) So if your partner wants a vintage, it's OK to send them a vintage. It's always OK to ask. But for the rest of the participants the rules of the swap should be applied.

I also wouldn´t mind a vintage card.

I would be fine with vintage as well!
