Valentines Postmark Mail

I saw this and thought it would be fun..so here's the swap.

The object of this swap is to have your envelope postmarked with a special valentines themed cancellation stamp (avaliable through special post offices with Love, Bliss, valentine, etc in the city, town name)

Instructions:

There are several post offices that participate in different states. The links above mention a few. but there are several in AR, NE, TX, etc. Find the one closest to you (if not in your own state then a nearby state) and send your letter there.

You can use a notecard w/envie from your stash (any type of notecard w/envie is fine) write a greeting with a short note to your partner...seal it, address it and place a stamp on it. A heart stamp would be awesome but not mandatory. Then place the stamped addressed envelope in ANOTHER envelope and address that envelope to the post office you are sending it to. stamp it and mail it. Once rec'd the postal workers will open the envie, postmark it with the special valentines stamp and mail it to your partner.

That's it.

total cost should be under $1.00 (you are using 2 stamps which will cost either a total of $0.90 or 0.92 (after Jan 26)

Special Note: The send to deadline is the deadline to send to the post office, not to your partner. Your partner may receive it after valentines day but as long as the post office you send it to receives it before Valentines day, it will be stamped. Please mark sent once you have sent it to the post office, not your partner. Please do not rate until you receive the letter...it may be received after the deadline because it is being sent through another post office not your partner directly.
