Thimbles Anyone? and a PC Swap

Okay I am sure that there are a lot of you sewers that either have a small, growing or huge thimble collection!

i fess up to having a huge collection of nearly 900 (need to do a recount).

anyway this is a quick swap if you want to see more of these set up once a month or so comment below!

Requirement:

1 thimble - Must be a collectible thimble

From a place - state or country or themed or vintage.

Place - anywhere ex: Las Vegas, The Florida Everglades, Rome and so on

State or country: Norway, New York and so on

Themed or vintage: Advertising, disney, childrens, christmas and so on.

What you cannot send is a storeboughten - used for regular sewing or quilting. Can check profile for ideas but, this first one is senders choice

Along with the thimble A Postcard written about why you chose that thimble and maybe why you chose that postcard.

Important Shipping your thimble - for those first timers - place in items like an old pill bottle, a toliet paper roll. wrapped securely inside the envelope. I had many disappointments of breakage beyond belief. and you don't want to have to resend especially if international. The post office has no idea what is in the envelope or small box. So wrap securely! How you would expect yours to be shipped!

once everyone gets the hang of this swap - I will themed them each month to be a specific type of thimble along with another item.
