Last Minute Christmas Card Swap

Normally I'd say to go ahead and fill out your cards so you can just address them and drop them in the mail. But on the off chance that not enough people sign up to get 10 people, you may want to hold off on that...

It concerns me that you assign partners the same day that the cards are to be mailed out. What happens if I go to work before you assign partners and my chance to address cards is after the mail has gone. Postmarked Dec 21. I personally don't care if I receive a card pm the day after but some people are anal about dates and will rate 3 if the pm is not on the day it is to me mailed. Hope you understand what I am saying. Don't want a 3 for something like a card.

I absolutely understand. I will adjust the swap dates/description when I get home. Don't want to do it from a mobile device.

I dont have a rating so I cant join. But if anyone wants another card, I have all these cards here and no one to mail to. You can message me with your address and I will send you a card.

I only got two cards this year sadly... first house I guess so it makes sense.

I changed the signup date to the 19th (Wednesday) so I can hopefully assign partners at midnight and people can send their cards out Thursday morning.

I will be assigning partners tonight after midnight. I checked everyone so far, and we are all in the U.S. There are a couple of swappers with either a 1 or a 3 on their profile, but I have looked over circumstances and feel that they are okay (either because they were unfairly rated, or because I have swapped with them before and have seen them uphold their commitments personally). I hope everyone will be okay with my judgement on this, and of course for those who have the 1 or 3 I have no doubts that they will send on time.

My cards are going out 12/21 due to our winter snow & power outage :( we got it back last night & I was then able to get online. We had nothing! So today things are getting back to normal & our mail carrier can get down our street as well! :)

I just got back in town and all 10 of my cards were there waiting for me. Hope you all had a wonderful and blessed Christmas. Thanks for a great swap!
