Description:

This is already my 3rd time hosting this swap!! Hope people still like the idea :)

I have seen a lot of sticker swaps where you must send +2 full stickers sheets so I got this idea of a little bit different and cheaper swap, that is good for those who have a lot of (un-used) stickers on their own, or for them who are short on money !

So, basically the idea of this swap is not to send full sticker sheets but those where more or less are already used. In short, this is sticker exchanging what we used to do as children but through mail :)

You can send sheet(but no full ones!), or stickers from your sticker album(attach them onto an empty piece of sticker sheet).

I'm sure all of us have stickers that we have bought or received months or even years ago, but only used few of them for some reason. Now you have a great opportunity to get them a new home!

RULES:
~You have one(1) partner whom you send at least 35 stickers.
~You can send different stickers or stickers with same pattern(eg. you have half-full sticker sheet of star-patterned stickers, you can send all of them) still try not to send only one kind of stickers(it'll be boring to the receiver)
~Please do not send dirty, broken, reward or advert stickers.
~The stickers are sender's choice so rate 5 as long as the rules are fulfilled :)

This is an international swap and everyone are welcome as long as newbies have WELL-filled profiles and others have no recent 1s or 3s. And most importantly; NO FLAKERS!!! If I see any person who appeals suspicious to me on any way, I'll have the right to ban them without further notification. I want to keep all the participaters safe & have fun with them.

If you have any worry or question about the swap, just comment below or send me a private message and I'll reply as soon as possible.

I'll angel if needed.

Urm, can I ask, whats wrong with stickers with foreign text other than english on it?

Jungpo 11/19/2012 #

@lasciviouskisses nothing else but only people who speak the language that's in the sticker can understand the meaning, so it wouldn't be nice to recieve stickers that are no any use for, or can't understand the text. But English is a language that all people understand :)
Of course, if the main idea of the sricker is a pattern, and only something little is written in it, any language is ok in that case! ::)

luciechan 11/22/2012 #

is it ok to send stickers that have been cut off of a full sheet? (like if there is a full sheet of stickers and i cut off a row of stickers to add to part of the 35, or even if i cut out 1 individual sticker to add to my 35)

Jungpo 11/23/2012 #

@luciechan yes, sure! I've done so previously in this swap. It doesn't matter how you send the stickers(cut off a sheet or half-empty sheets etc..) as long as there are 35 of them. :)

Mokuren 11/28/2012 #

What about the size of the stickers? I understand very tiny ones should come as bonus but a lot of my stickers (on sheet) are no more than 2cm. Is it fine to have a combination between smaller and larger stickers?

Jungpo 11/28/2012 #

@Mokuren I haven't think of that before.. Let's keep this as simple as possible , you can send any sized stickers as long there's at least 35 of them, doesn't matter whether they are small or large. If you send a lot of tiny stickers, of course it would be nice of you to send bigger amount of them then :)

Mokuren 11/29/2012 #

Thank you for your answer. I found bigger stickers as well :) But I was thinking: what about upgrading this swap to a bigger amount of stickers? like 50/60 at least? 35 is really not a lot and since we are sending internationally we could send a bit more (just a suggestion of course)...

Jungpo 11/29/2012 #

@Mokuren you're right, 35 is very few! So your idea is good! Actually I've been thinking about the same as well. But I don't want to upgrade this round as the last day to sign/drop out is already in two days, so everyone may not notice the change. Maybe the 4th round should be 50~60 stickers?! I'll definitely keep that in mind :) Thanks for your suggestion!!

marge 11/29/2012 #

BUT this is sender's choice, right? @ Jungpo....Thanks... Because it is hard to please someone with a particular like/ dislike most specially when this is a 35 pieces could be more stickers. :) Just saying. :)

Jungpo 11/29/2012 #

@marge yes, this is sender's choice :)
It seems that many people want to swap bigger amount of stickers. I don't think it's possible to change the amount of stickers any longer as the swap will start so soon... but I promise the next round of "Not Your Normal Sticker Swap" will be a bigger one! Please look forward to it :)

"nothing else but only people who speak the language that's in the sticker can understand the meaning, so it wouldn't be nice to recieve stickers that are no any use for, or can't understand the text. But English is a language that all people understand :)"

I LOVE stickers with different languages on them, so do others I know. They are useful and it's not hard to look up the meaning. PS. Not everyone understands English.

Jungpo 12/ 1/2012 #

@zigg13pra oh..okay:) I'll change the swap info and allow all language stickers then ^-^

marge 12/ 1/2012 #

@Jungpo .. thanks. :) Just emphasizing on the Sender's choice so it is clear. So that as long as we meet the count of the stickers than that would be the basis of it all and all other requirements stated on the swap description. :)
