Description:

For this advent I am making my little son (3 years old) a Christmas calendar that will start with a Christmas tree and every day he will receive something new to put on the tree. That inspired me to do this swap:

You will send each partner 3 different handmade christmas ornaments to put on the tree. You will have 3 partners, so thats 9 items in total! These are the rules:

  • Please make the items/ornaments special, so that kids will like them and be happy to put them on the tree.

  • You can use whatever craft you would like - even buying something and decorate it (an example is the picture above.

  • Please don't make the item to big. I won't put measurement on, but just think small christmas ornaments, not large. So that the receiver can use the ornament on a small tree, but not so small that it can't be used on a normal seize tree.

  • when getting inspired please think what you believe a child would like to put on the tree. Something colorful, something fun, something shiny ect. This is senders choose but please try to think as a child.

  • to each item, please add a note with your name and country (fx: 'Heidi, denmark ' would be what I should write. You can also write it on the item.

  • As these items will be handmade, putting a price on them will be difficult, but lets say materials for at around 1$ per item.

YOU MUST HAVE a rating of 4,95 and above. No recent 1 or 3 (if you do please pm me with explanation first) You must have completed and rated for at least 12 type 3 swaps.

Please pm me with questions:o))

What do you think of an ornament that is about 3.5 inches high? I do a special one that is that size :)

79hejo 08/23/2012 #

I think that is a perfect size FeltPrincess :o)) I was thinking aprox that hight or smaller, but I won't put a measurement under rules because an item can be long and slim and still seem small, (so nobody should be downgraded because of size.)

okay, thanks :)

I was so happy when I saw this swap. I'm already looking and getting things together. Christmas is my favorite holiday.

I'm so excited. I have mine all done and ready to go. It was so much fun. My partners are going to love them. I just kept thinking of ideas. Stayed up two nights in a row late with my mom and we got them done. It was a lot of fun. Can't wait to get my names.
