Description:

Send one partner a postcard that has the postage already included. These can be purchased at the post office and some tourist attractions (I just saw them recently while visiting the CN Tower in Toronto) The stamp is not "stuck" on, but printed on the card.

Some additonal info: Send postcard naked (written on, not in envelope) Many of these cards cover postage for anywhere, if not stamps could be used in addition. Maybe next time I will do a swap where they are sent in an envelope .

Any theme, International, Sender's Choice.

No recent 1's or unrated.

Written on and sent naked or in an envelope for them to reuse?

If you were sending Internationally (as you may be in this swap) @inkedwithelegance I don't think your partner would be able to "use" the postcard. As far as I am aware, US (or any countries!) postage is only valid on items that start their journey in that country. For example, if I sent you a book of UK stamps, you couldn't then use them to send out your next batch of swaps, could you?

BUT, OMG! What a great idea for an experiment! It would be hard to rate as a regular swap because modt of us probably wouldn't receive it in the end....BUT....think of the fun to be had trying to mail things out using foreign stamps!! I wonder if anything would get through! Or if it would make any difference if you used the postage stamps of the country you were sending to as opposed to any random one.... OH! The possibilities!!!

CraftyLass is right -- I have used these before, mailed from Canada -- they're positively gorgeous! The bonus is postage is paid to anywhere in the world -- not so bonus: I don't think another country besides Canada could use them for mailing.

The plan was to send them naked. The ones I have seen here are good for anywhere, I guess if that is not the case in other countries the additional postage could be added on.

I collect the Canadian ones - started when I was there in May. They are stunning. Now I get them sent to me in New Zealand, straight from Canada Post! My only problem is that I've never seen prepaid postcards in New Zealand - well not for many years anyway.

I don't think we can get pre-paid postcards in England
