100 Things I Miss

oooohhhhhh glad i spotted this one otherwise i would have missed a list!

Watch out for my new address - I am hoping to at least use an internet cafe to check when partners are allocated.

I missed some lists. I thought I'd try this one. It looks kind of hard. I hope I can do it.

I'm always going on about things I miss!! So this is a fab swap for me!!

Is this the same kind of swap as '100 fears'? I was in that but it was dropped - so just wanted to check this one is going to go ahead as i'm half way through my list! ;-)

I'm up to 84. I hope I can think of a total of 100 things. I thought of something yesterday and then forgot it before I wrote it down! :-) I've been away for a couple of weeks - I got married and my daughter visited from L.A. - and there are a lot of things changed here at swap-bot ! :-) Linda

YEAH!!! I finally got 100. I wouldn't mind having more partners. Once you get it done, it wouldn't matter how many copies you had to make.

Great idea for a swap though

This swap sure has my curiosity up! There are plenty of things I miss, but I need a little clarification before signing up. Do the "things I miss" apply more to things that can not be had again? Such as a specific candy that is no longer available for purchase or is that applicable to ANY thing that we once had/enjoyed, but are no longer in our lives for any reason? OR are unattainable things also included? (such as above-extra pair of hands-tho' that sounds more like a wish list to me) Please advise. Thank you!

Kimi, My understanding is that it means what you've stated: something specific that is not longer available OR anything we once had but don't have now. You wouldn't miss an extra pair of hands that you never had to begin with.

Just to clarify for those who haven't participated in these 100 List swaps before, they are usually hosted by Simone, but she is busy moving house this month so there are a few of us hosting on her behalf. There are in fact 100 lists of 100 that we are doing in sequence, so make sure you keep an eye out for the rest.

As for suggestions of more partners and the like, I am sure Simone will be reading this discussion and she might just take your suggestions on board. Personally, I would find the extra cost of postage to extra partners a little off putting as I am a struggling student!

I'm so glad that so many newbies (& oldies) have decided to join this swap. I hope that everyone sends and recieves their lists, it isn't a difficult swap to fulfill (well, after you have written the list that is!). 100 Ways I can make a difference.

I also feel that more partners may be a bit much for some people. I like to make my package special by add a few extra goodies but need to watch my budget.

For the first time in 8 years I am not working. We have just moved to Northern Ireland and I have no idea how our budget will work out.

Katerbear44 - I am not sure but if you find out before I do please let us all know. I need to get around the changes on the site.

From the FAQ "New users are only allowed to sign up for five swaps at a time until they have received three "5" ratings from their swap partners. We implemented this limit to prevent new swappers from over-extending themselves and to prevent bogus "scammers" from creating new accounts and signing up for tons of swaps with the intent of stealing swap items. Once you have received three "5" ratings the limit is removed and you can sign up for unlimited swaps."
