what it is jive turkey make a mix tape/cd. 15+ tracks. NO international swaps, sorry. must include at least TWO tracks from local bands in your area! doesnt HAVE to be indie rock. but something that a person who listens to indie rock might enjoy. post your HATES and LOVES so that the person makin' you the cd has an idea of your taste so they dont put evanescence on there if they totally hate them. include a track listing!! if you have a bad rating/missed a send just email me and tell me why you WILL do better this time. i think everyone deserves a 2nd chance! if you dont email me though, i'll delete you off. sorry!

i enjoy most bands on k records or bands involved with the elephant 6 collective. i enjoy bollywood music and music from brazil. girl punk bands. late 60s british rock. electronic music like silver apples, stereolab, and bands from thirll jockey record label. some classic rock like cat stevens and the beatles. dancy hip-hop like missy elliot or outkast or busta rhymes.

i do not enjoy melodic rock, country like garth brooks, and i cant stand the decemberists and bright eyes (i figured i should say that because this is an indie mix and they are pretty popular with the indie kids). i do not want to hear music that on top 40 radio. if you really like a band that gets played on top 40, play the b side.
