How long ago is "historical"? Obviously European historical places are much older than American historical sites.

How about the "near your home" part? I live 35km (~22 miles) away from an awesome site of great importance to my whole country which we visit from time to time, yet if that's too far, I'll go and take some pictures of a bit less historical (or simply less significant) places around my own town. What do you think?

What a great idea for a swap!

I am going about 30 miles from my home so it is up to you how far you want to travel. I just didn't want it to be a strain to go too far. As far as how historical....if it is an interesting place historically noteworth, i am fine with it even being 10 years ago unless anyone has any objections.....
