What color is it? 1

This is a colored envelop art swap.

A couple months ago, for some reason while I was cutting and gluing, I then noticed the envelop had one basic color theme, so I added some other markings in that color. I did keep it to use in a swap, but none came up that I felt comfortable sending it. So I knew I had to host a swap.

What color was it? Yellow so …..

This swap’s theme will be yellow.

Both sides need decorated and there should be more than a few stickers pasted on it. I do not want to limit the style of envelop you use, but I do want to make sure the size is not small.

You can use a regular greeting card size envelope, approximately 5 x 7 inches (12.7 x 17.78 CM) {Or for those that use the envelop size this is a size 4 ½ or A7} or the business size envelope that is approximately 4 x 9 inches. (10.16 x 22.86 CM) {or for those that use the envelop size that should be a size 9 envelop} It can be bigger than those, but not smaller. You can use stickers and markers, cut out pictures and crayons, re-used junk mail and colored pencils. Or any of the paper parts can be used with any of the marking parts. But you must use at least one of each medium. That is glued/taped on and marking with ink, crayons, pencils or anything that can color in an area. You can add more recyclables to the envelope also. Buttons, thread, or flower petals, but these are not required. Let your imagination run free.

The first part to this swap,

You can draw, you can doodle, and you can just find something and color around it or in it to make weird shapes. (Like a cookie cutter outline)

Make sure the paper medium part is glued down well enough so the postal system cannot take it off. I usually use both glue and clear tape. One cut out/sticker is not going to make it, it takes some effort please. I just do not want anyone to join that would be lazy and their partner work hard to get a hardly made envelop.

Now the boring repeat stuff: Please do not join with more than one 1 rating, you need to be making those up and not join in my swaps as far as I am concerned.

International swaps are the best so this is international. Just remember to make sure the envelope can withstand the P.O.s abuse. Please include a little note about the weather, the day you are writing it.

How to send it? You can send the envelope in another envelop, so the partner can use it, or you can just add the little note and send your artwork off. This is sender choice.
