Private Swap: Classroom ATC moongypsy and smarshal

Hey! I didn't realize that you could do this private swap thing. Cool. Your package was mailed out last week. Looking forward to receiving your package when we get back to school. Right now I'm just enjoying holidays ... sleeping in, reading good books, making ATCs. Ahhhh! Got to love it.

Great!!!! i have been doing the exact same thing!!! ahhhh, sleeping in...gonna be tuff gettin up next week! lol just finished a couple of great books! i posted a ? in the Classroom ATC Forum...about how swaps are set up in the group...you have been my only contact. My kids want to keep having swaps, so I hope someone answers my question. Can't wait to get your package, and the kids are looking forward to the book as well!

I feel bad. It sounds like you have to go back next week! We just started holidays this week and don't go back until the 9th. Two weeks of luxurious relaxation. Do you just get one week or did you start earlier than us?

In terms of swaps in the Classroom ATC group, they will occasionally post a swap to join. There was a big one before the holidays called a stack swap where you could sign up for 25 to 150 ATCs. Earlier there was a seasonal swap. I joined that one and got matched with a grade 2 class from Georgia. Their cards were adorable.

My kids have done 4 swaps so far this year, plus yours. We've done one local swap (our first one) with my niece's school, two from Georgia, and one from Minnesota. Only one of those was through the Classroom ATC group.

I've just been sending messages to other teachers from the group and trying to set up my own swaps. Seems to work. Right now I've sent three teachers messages hoping that one of them might agree to a swap with my kids.

Wow! you are busy! yes, we have had part of last week off before Christmas, and are off this week. We go back on Wed, Jan 4. We get 2 wks off, just a little off from your dates...Keep us on your trading list..my kids would love to trade with you again! I will contact a few teachers and see if any are up for a trade..thanks so much for the info!

OK, this is going to sound totally pathetic, but I can't remember if I made you an ATC in the batch that I sent with the kids' cards!! Those last few weeks before the holidays are a total blur. When you open the package, please let me know if I included one for you. If not, I will make you one and send it separately. Please be honest and let me know. I feel horrible that I might have forgotten to include one for you!! How stupid!
