Winnie-the-Pooh Whimsey Jar

In honor of A. A. Milne's birthday on January 18 (AKA the send deadline) I'm proposing a Winnie-the-Pooh themed whimsey jar.

Each participant will send to just one other participant. The jar (or pot) you use must be at least 16 oz.

Each participant should post in the comments with his or her favorite Winnie-the-Pooh character (Pooh, Piglet, Tigger, Eeyore, Rabbit, Kanga, Roo, Owl, Christopher Robin, etc.).

The elements you fill your jar with may be handmade or store-bought (or a combination of both). The value of items should be a minimum of $10, not including shipping.

Each jar must contain these themed items:

• 3 things that represent your partner's favorite character

• A decorated outside and/or decorated lid

• A plushie/stuffie

• Something handmade (bookmark, ATC, jewelry, etc.)

• Something with a quote on it from one of Milne's works

Fill the rest of your jar with other Pooh or A. A. Milne-related items. Classic Pooh, Disney Pooh, Baby Pooh, etc. themes (and their combination) are all fair game. Items can also include ones somehow relating to various characters or ones that remind you of the Hundred Acre Woods & the adventures in it. Orange and red buttons in the colors of Winnie-the-Pooh, bumblebees, fake vegetables for Rabbit, balloons, sticks, etc. Be creative! Feel free to message me if you need some more suggestions.

Check your partner's profile both for things they like/can use as well as things like allergies. It would be nice to contact your partner if you have any questions.

Please fill your jar with care. You'll have a full month to assemble it & send it. No skimping or flaking PLEASE! This is my first swap and I don't want to send angry messages to people who don't send to their partners.

Sign-up notes: USA only due to shipping costs. All welcome with 4.7+ average ratings. No recent unexplained 1s or 3s within last 6 months. Must have completed at least 5 swaps. Send me a message if you dearly want to join, explaining your status, if you don't meet these requirements. I reserve the right to ban anyone whose swap-bot status seems wonky. Normal rating parameters apply. No flakers please. This is a month-long swap and Winnie-the-Pooh fans are counting on you to come through!
