Description:

Yesterday I was going through my ATC supplies and found a bunch of little bags of confetti. Whenever I buy confetti for a project I'm always left with a little baggie of left overs. So today I was thinking - What if I traded some of my little confetti left overs?

This swap consists of sending a small ziploc bag of mixed confetti to a partner. Please try to include at least five different shapes (stars, suns, birthday hats, etc.) in the baggie. When I say a small ziploc I'm thinking along the lines of those 2"x3" baggies (about the size of a business card). If you don't have a small ziploc bag, feel free to put about that amount in a larger bag or make one with a larger bag and a stapler.

Please do not enclose the confetti loose in an envelope - causing all the loose pieces to explode when the envelope is opened.

I'm opening this swap to established swappers and newbies. It's a quick, easy way to buff your rating. You do not have to send profile items, but please be considerate of someone's dislikes when packaging (don't send someone spiders if they hate them). I will check all participants and send messages to any questionable swappers.

Please rate with a 5 if the swap arrives on time and follows all the guidelines laid out above. Please contact a partner before rating less than a 5 (like asking why something hasn't arrived or if something is missing).

Please message me with questions :)

can the confetti be handmade.. for example.. using a punch-out design and colorful paper or colorful foam adhesive sheets or whatever can be found around the house?

I think handmade confetti is fine. I think making it out of found materials and textures sounds neat. I'm not sure about the adhesive foam sheets, though. When I think of confetti I think of flat pieces that can be used to stuff a matchbox or glue on an ATC, not ones that already have adhesive on them.

Okay, no problem. I can make it out of felt and foam that is not self-adhesive but with the foam it will still give it some texture and a kind of 3-d type effect. Is this okay?

Absolutely!
