Description:

This is for an Envelope Advent Calendar

This requires 25 envelopes, decorated and labeled with the day to open. Each envelope will have an item in it for that day. (Mainly a flat item).

Examples: Bookmarks, candies, jewelry, stickers, cd's, ATCs, die-cuts, magnets, buttons, thread, charms etc. Mix in some Christmas/holiday themed items.

If you put smaller items such a beads or stickers, put more than just one in the envie (such as a sheet of stickers)! Be sure to put different items in each envie.

Envelopes are NOT to be the normal white business envelopes. They can be handmade or store bought though. (When I mean business envies, I mean the one you buy in the huge packs (50, 100+) at the store) I think these are kind of tacky and this should be a nice swap. Envelopes can be different sizes. No plain envies.

Gifts do not need to be profile specific so you can start getting ready ahead of time. Profile specific may help you to gain hearts though.

  • I REQUIRE 40 RATINGS TO JOIN THIS SWAP.
  • 4.9 Rating requirement
  • Email and postcards do not count. (I will check)
  • If you are picky, do not join this swap. You may get something you may not like and cannot rate down for it.
  • 1 partner
  • USA/Canada only

I reserve the right to ban at my choosing if I think you will flake.

  • Sending extra's is always optional but not required. It may just help you earn that heart! *(Disclamer: Swap participants should never demand that they receive a heart for their sent swap items. Hearts are only to be given at the discretion of each swap recipient. Cited )

On top it says USA. Below in writing says USA/CANADA-which is it?

Fixed it, sorry about that, it was a copy and paste from another year.

Last year I made my son's family an advent tree using white paper bags. They were not the standard lunch bag, just a little smaller. They really enjoyed opening a little bag each day. Hope you get enough people to join. Would you consider the "bags" in place of the envelope?

Nope, these are the requirements. There are other advents out there where you could use that. And it only takes two to swap, I average about 5-10 people per advent each year.

One more question. Do the envelopes need to be Christmas themed?

Thanks!

They don't HAVE to be, but this IS a Christmas advent calender...
