Thanks so much for this fantastic postcard and especially for your message-- almost all of your superstitions are new ones to me, and the x's on the windshield after spotting a black cat was especially interesting-- is this a common superstition in the south? I know that one of my professors (of Iroquois ancestry) would actually cancel any travel plans if an owl flew across his path, although his wife (of Cherokee ancestry) would see it as a good omen. I suppose that specific animals are important to several cultures! I hope that you're well and am so glad that you joined in this round. :) xo Arianne

It was very rainy here over the last week and the card got damp. In future also remember to put the title of your little piece of artwork, name (as you want to take credit for all your hard work) and maybe even the date on the back of your ATC. Comment: Ciera, WOW is all I can say about your "Indian Elephant" It's so intricate and lovely colors. I actually have dreams of traveling to India to serve there. Comment: I did a double-take at this postcard of ducks in front of a fountain. What a fascinating tradition that I'd love to know more about. Anyway - personalized keychains are not actually personal, Ciera. They just have a preprinted name on it - how totally impersonal! Instead of having a keychain with your name on it, you have an awesome name instead. :) Thanks for the awesome postcard!
